What we check
What the checker looks at
The checker visits your page the way Google and a first-time visitor do, and tests about 25 things that decide whether a business website gets found, loads quickly, stays secure and turns visitors into enquiries.
- Getting found on Google: whether Google is allowed to show the page, your page title and search description, headings, sitemap, structured data for your business details, image descriptions and how your link looks when shared on WhatsApp.
- Speed: how quickly your server responds, how heavy the page is, compression, and scripts that hold the page back.
- Security: HTTPS, secure redirects and the browser protections that stop common attacks, plus whether your server gives away software versions.
- Phones: whether the page is built for phone screens and lets visitors zoom.
- Trust and enquiries: tap-to-call, WhatsApp and email links, a privacy policy, and signs the site is kept up to date.
How to read your score
Each check is marked passed, could be better or needs fixing, and the important ones count for more. 90 or above is excellent, 75 to 89 is good, 50 to 74 needs work, and below 50 means visitors and Google are probably struggling with the site. Start with the “Fix these first” list: those changes usually make the biggest difference.
A high score means the basics are right. Ranking well also depends on useful content, reviews, links from other websites and your competition, which no automatic check can measure. If you’d like a person to look at the whole picture, our SEO service and website redesign service cover exactly that.
