Privacy policy
Last updated 25 Oct 2026
This policy explains what personal data Social Dealers Digital Solutions (“Social Dealers”, “we”, “us”) collects through socialdealers.in, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We have been a digital agency in Mumbai since 2012, and we try to collect as little as we can.
For your personal data, we are the “Data Fiduciary” under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). We also follow the reasonable security practices expected under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. What we collect
a) When you send an enquiry through our contact form
- Your name and email address (required).
- Your phone number, company name, budget range and the services you’re interested in (all optional).
- Your message (required).
- Your confirmation that we may contact you about this enquiry (required tick-box).
b) Collected automatically with your enquiry
- The page you sent it from, and campaign tags (UTM parameters): if you arrived through a link carrying campaign tags (for example from an ad), we record which campaign brought you.
- A scrambled IP address: we never store your raw IP address with your enquiry. We store a one-way code made from it using a secret key, and use it only to spot spam and abuse.
- Your browser’s user agent: basic information about your browser and device type.
c) Server and error logs
When a page can’t be found, we record only the address that was tried and the page that linked to it, so we can fix broken links. This contains no information about you. Like every website, our hosting provider’s servers also keep short-term technical access logs (which include IP addresses) for security and to keep the service running.
d) Analytics, only if you say yes
We use Google Analytics only if you click “Allow analytics” on our cookie banner. Google Analytics then records how you use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type and how you found us), linked to a random ID stored in a cookie. We don’t use it to identify you by name. If you choose “No thanks”, Google Analytics does not load at all. See our Cookie Policy.
e) Spam protection
To block automated spam, our contact form may use Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check. Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser and device to run it.
We don’t ask for sensitive information such as financial, health or identity-document details. Please don’t include it in your message.
2. Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your enquiry details on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the box on our contact form. You can withdraw it at any time (see section 7). We keep the site secure, block spam and meet legal requirements as legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act.
- To reply to your enquiry, discuss your project and send you a proposal.
- If you become a client, to deliver the work you asked for. Project work is also governed by your proposal or agreement with us.
- To understand which campaigns and pages bring us enquiries (campaign tags, and analytics if you allowed it).
- To keep the site secure and free of spam, and to fix broken links.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not add you to marketing mailing lists without your separate permission.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website, and only as far as they need it:
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its database.
- Our email provider, which delivers enquiries to our inbox.
- Google (Google Analytics), only if you have allowed analytics cookies.
- Cloudflare (Turnstile bot check), when it is active on the form.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or prevent fraud. We don’t share your data with anyone else.
WhatsApp and social media. If you tap our WhatsApp button, the chat happens on WhatsApp (owned by Meta) under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. Our footer links to our LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and X pages, which are run by those companies under their own policies. We only see what you choose to share with us there.
4. Data stored outside India
Our website, its database and our email are hosted on servers in the United States. Google and Cloudflare may also process data outside India. Indian law allows this, subject to any restrictions the Government notifies. We use established providers that maintain appropriate security safeguards.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t lead to a project: your personal details are erased 3 years after our last contact with you. We keep only anonymous statistics (such as the date and the services asked about).
- Spam submissions: erased after 90 days.
- Enquiries that become client projects: kept for as long as we work together, and afterwards for as long as tax, accounting or other laws require us to keep business records.
- Analytics data: kept in Google Analytics for no longer than 14 months.
If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
6. How we protect it
We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, scrambled IP addresses, restricted and logged access to our systems, and protection against form abuse. No website can be completely secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the authorities as Indian law requires.
7. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, where we no longer need it or you withdraw consent;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to act.
To use any of these rights, email contact@socialdealers.in from the address you used with us, or call +91 99304 84212. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
To withdraw analytics consent, use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
8. Questions and grievances
Grievance Officer: Amey Arora, Proprietor, Social Dealers Digital Solutions.
If you have a question or complaint about how we handle your personal data, contact us by email at contact@socialdealers.in, by phone at +91 99304 84212, or by post at Social Dealers Digital Solutions, Ground Floor, 47/C-9, SVP Nagar, MHADA, Near Versova Telephone Exchange, Andheri West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400053, India.

9. Children
This website is meant for businesses and adults. If you are under 18, please don’t send us your personal details; ask a parent or guardian to contact us instead. If we learn that we have received a child’s data without a parent’s consent, we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If the changes are significant, we will highlight them on this page.
